Our iggy now 5 and is a free roamer in the house, but started his young life in a viv then we left the doors open with wood outside and a viv bulb above it and it went from there, every night we tried to handle our iggy Jac's but never forced him, now he like a tame dog, well we three small house dogs and he eats his tea with them and Jac's is part of our family life, i do trust him these days as he has calmed downed over the years with the tail whipping and the scittishness long gone he a slow fella compared to a couple of years ago, but Jacs still to this day will use his tail to say 'leave me alone' or 'im in a mood' but these days it a tiny flick and not meant to hurt.. So yes with alot of attention and learning your iggy they do grow out og it in a way
