this is an old picture of my hoggies viv, its a 12x12x12 hes got the plants in the viv behind his now and is getting an upgrade in the next few weeks to an 18x18x24. hes approx 2 yrs old and about a foot and a half or so. hes mad into climbing and digging so hes got more substrate in with him now than in the picture

im not sure bout the hognose or milksnake but with the royal, more bushes and hides the better...also they dont realy need height just length they like cramped places it makes em feel safe...
also sally that is a lovely set up for the hognose:)

thanks meabh, gonna get him some proper branches for his new viv and make him a proper climbing frame. the good thing about the vine is you can take it out and change it so easy and hes got a new place to explore. he often sits on it hiding in the plant just popping out every so often to see whats going on. i could see the difference in his activity after i put it in even though some people will say a hoggie wont climb given half the chance they will, very nosy little snakes and always wanna know whats going on around them
