Ok Rob, I have been waiting, trying a feed a week.... hasn't eaten for me yet. Next week I will try your method, the snake looks healthy, skin is good, wait looks good, eyes clear, no sign of mites (that I can see) very chilled out to handle. So far I have handled him/her a bit but, leave her alone for a few days before each feed attempt.

The viv is smallish and dark, but it is usually around the 70degree F, no basking spot. little climbing frame in there, small bit of plant cover (not much)

Still open to suggestions people :Smiley

It is incredible the lengths we go to!!! lol, we must be nuts

That is the temp approx 1.5 inch above the floor. Should I use another heat source? What would you recomend, its a glass viv, too small to put lamps etc in Ithink, mabye a ceramic heat thingy?

Again, suggestions welcome for heat sources that are compact that can go in the viv ? or a source that is safe to go on the top of a glass viv?

OK so people, thanks for the help. I got worried about this little dude because he/she started to feel a little weaker. I noticed what loked like scratches just after I got it, they now look worse so I took him to the vet this morning who suspected the start of secpticimia (spelling!) Shocked Sad Not sure what caused it, but he is on anti-biotics and waiting for a cream ointment too, was given fluids injected and an appettite stimulator. I must try him later with a fluff and see what happens. Fingers crossed! Vet said he did not knw the cause of the infection, usually picked up from enviroment!!?? CENSORED? bit confused and disapointed, but with any luck he/she will be back on track soon

Thanks for all the help, I will start a new thread when things improve or I get him to feed,

Can we lock this thread please, I think its irritated everyone long enough! :Smiley Wink
